Sirigannada, the Kannada Association of South Carolina, a non-profit organization was created on July 18, 2004 by the interested Kannada speaking people of South Carolina. It is a voluntary organization primarily run by memberships and donations from Kannadigas of the State of South Carolina.
The purpose of this Sangha is to bring together all the Kannadigas of South Carolina and promote the cultural activities for adults as well as youth born and growing in U.S.A. Sirigannada also wants to span its activities into charitable causes.
To bring a sense of festivity apart from our routine lifestyle, three major celebrations are planned in a calendar year, which are Ugadi, Picnic and Deepavali/Rajyothsava Day. View the Events link for the celebration dates.
