Objectives
Sirigannada, the Kannada Association of South Carolina formed on July 18, 2004.
The purpose of this Sangha is as follows:

  • To provide and encourage the cultural heritage of Karnataka State of India.
  • To further enhance Language and Traditions.
  • To continue the roots in the adopted land that is South Carolina.
  • To encourage cultural talents among youngsters.
  • To develop oneness among people who have migrated to South Carolina, USA from the State of Karnataka, India
  • To help and provide opportunity to adjust to the new home by providing mutual help and cooperation to the new immigrants.
  • To develop, encourage and enhance talents by providing classes,group-gatherings among the citizens who have come from the State of Karnataka.
  • To conduct religious activities of the State of Karnataka, India to continue the cultural heritage.
  • Office bearers will be elected once a year.
  • Nominal donation will be collected among the members to cover the expenses.
