Objectives
Sirigannada, the Kannada Association of South Carolina formed on July 18, 2004.
The purpose of this Sangha is as follows:
To provide and encourage the cultural heritage of Karnataka State of India. To further enhance Language and Traditions. To continue the roots in the adopted land that is South Carolina. To encourage cultural talents among youngsters. To develop oneness among people who have migrated to South Carolina, USA from the State of Karnataka, India To help and provide opportunity to adjust to the new home by providing mutual help and cooperation to the new immigrants. To develop, encourage and enhance talents by providing classes,group-gatherings among the citizens who have come from the State of Karnataka. To conduct religious activities of the State of Karnataka, India to continue the cultural heritage. Office bearers will be elected once a year. Nominal donation will be collected among the members to cover the expenses.
